Be Loud Be Proud!is an exciting development for Art Services Unincorporated made possible through our partnership with Lewisham
Youth Theatre, enabling us to extend beyond our usual remit into a new geographic location and creative discipline.
Working with LYT, a local youth arts organisation founded in 1987, that use theatre as a mechanism for change & Sheryl
Malcolm, a recognised theatre practitioner enables us to ensure the success of this project.
Be Loud Be Proud is a Theatre Workshop programme in Lewisham schools as part of Black History Month.
Exploring plays by Black British playwrights, 180 participants will have the opportunity to discover multicultural stories
and exciting characters, while developing acting and performance skills.
30 of the young talented performers will showcase the work of Black British playwrights in the Broadway Studio theatre,
28th October 2008. Lewisham pupils will perform these entertaining, moving stories. This event will be the culmination of
the theatre workshop programme delivered throughout October.
